Ruh roh.....I went and did it now! I just booked us a 2 week stay in St Croix over Thanksgiving! Haha, wonder what the hubby is gonna say. 
did they resolve the battery eating issue w/ the S7?
My wife tried an S6 and returned it after finding it needed charging after about 4 hours of light use (w/ everything power-saving set as power-savingly as possible). My S3 is alright, pro'ly cause the operating system isn't as hungry. Even still, I just bought a monster battery and deep back cover for it, so I can get through a 10 mod fotoshoot without having to plug in. Now it lasts me 3 days if not shooting and uploading pics. Am I rambling? . . .. . hmmm . .. . better say something useful . ..
2 things:
1) working on BeCu parts today and tomorrow (lots of different kinds now with all the diff mod varieties)
2) got shop work (work on shop . . . "tool upgrade") done yesterday. so, happy me. In fact, yesterday was a very nice day!
3) SS wire gets dirty fast. I think it's still worth it cause I like the vape a lot. But I am having to dry-glow and rewick more often, or just wrap a fresh coil.

On my S6 I went to Settings => Applications => Application Manager => Running and took a look at what was running that wasn't a vital system application and that I thought I didn't need and noted them then scrolled over to "All" and forced stop and disabled what I could. Made a world of difference shutting down the factory installed bloatware that I didn't need.
What new tool did you get, Peter?

Let's just say I got tired of boring ~3" deep holes w/ a drill press that has a throw of only 2-3/8". And I sure could'a used a drill press that had a speed slower than 640 when I was boring Mundy's holes.

and then let's just say that within' days of coming to the conclusion that I simply had to upgrade, and sitting down and making a little list of the features required, .. . . I experienced serendipitous materialization.
It may not be fancy to some; but it's the bee's knees to me!
Here's ↓ next to the old one . . . "little brother". The new one has 4-3/8" of throw and, like, 16 speeds from 200 to 3K+ RPM. Not to mention a much more direct and accurate depth stop .. . and MO' POWAH.

That's a fine drill press, right there, my friend. We have Jet drill press, that looks real similar to that, at my work. It's a beast!

I had a samsung s4, after about a year, the micro SD card slot was shot, battery wouldn't hold charge etc
So just upgraded to an LG G4, full manual camera with RAW functionality. I take really bad photos, but now I take really bad photos with bracketed exposure
very little bloatware too, too few apps, had to install things you'd just assume would be standard

That's the one we got as replacement for the wife's Samsung (returned). That is a nice phone and a great camera! It's got rapid charging and charges to ~60% in about 15 minutes!
