Not only is the tax going to empty your pockets ... what about them putting a limit on how much and how high of a nicotine percentage you can buy.
Example ..I can only buy enough Claritin D to get me through 10 days, without having to go back to the pharmacy and show my drivers license for more.
They have to keep a allergy & congestion product behind the counter ... where do you think the nic is going to be

Your 10 day dose could easily be 1 to 2 lethal doses for some people.

There are a million over the counter products that can do the same thing. You can't regulate and hide things from stupid.

Point was there's at least a good reason to limit availability of claritin.
Mucinex is one that comes to my mind immediately as well.
Xtra strength, 24 hour Mucinex threw me through a loop. I actually felt worse after taking a single pill.
I'm positive that's a strong potential for deaths

Yeah, I learned my limit to guaifenesin that day. Regular dose from here on out.
It took care of the sinuses as far as the face. Did a great job.
I had other things for the pain as far as from the sinus pressure around the rest of the head.
But I felt so sick and out of it afterwards. I must have had stomach convulsions and dry heaves uncontrollably for 10 to 15 or more hours. I was pretty much delirious within just over an hour.
I just wanted to curl up and die.
Funny thing, I've always had a high tolerance for narcotic and injectable pain meds.
Cyclobenzaprene... WOW! I get happy, loopy, floaty and sleepy within minutes once it kicks in. Then wake up angry for days and with twice the back pain I had before taking it.
I don't get it.
Neither do the doctors and anesthesiologists.

I have opposite reactions to several medications so I have chosen to go for the naturopathic choices. Usually a lot easier to tolerate and the body is happy. I'm turning that way myself.
Errr... I guess I should say I'm pushing the family in that direction and trying to make it mutually beneficial. Tough to come up with naturopathic remedies on the road.
And of course being a "macho" macho man, I refuse to go to a doctor unless absolutely necessary.
But when I was a wee bit younger I guess you could say I "partied" too hard. WAY too hard.
Which led to some extreme experimentation, addictions and some injuries internal and external.
I've signed a lot of waivers for the few times I've been hospitalized just to make the pain tolerable.

Find yourself a good Naturopath you may find yourself really happy. Acupuncture is awesome for pain as well.
I'm on the lookout.
We need to get a garden going after we get everything straight.

It might sound crazy but I drive round trip 140 miles every week for raw milk and organic groceries. The difference in our health is astonishing. Three of my four grandkids have never had anything that isn't organic and the fourth has a constant snotty nose and one illness after another.
