Bit of maintenance today. This is my daily driver, walnut Pinch, from the very first batch. She has more miles on her than any other mod I own (by far). Anyway, clean, shiny contact surfaces make for a happy mechanical mod!

All parts except the nut and washer are original. I've found my happy place in vape-life with my Pinches and CeeCees, and I intend to vape them for the rest of my life. This means I've got a good stock of spare parts, but I haven't had to use any of them yet.

And all back together:

Yes, she has some "character marks". Like I said, she's my daily driver.

Don't be. The combination of simplicity, elegance, and beauty of your mods remains, at least IMO, unrivaled. Squonking has really taken off in the past year or two, and lots of new mods have been introduced, but I have yet to see one I'm even remotely interested in owning.

She looks dry Uwe, I think you gotta give her some hydration (wax) buddy

I had the weirdest thing happen to me the other day, I actually upped the resistance of my build!

I don't know, but it may be the first time I've ever done that. And it's a good thing too, because there wasn't much more down to go.

I tend to slip-stream a bit when I'm hitting the vape, and I noticed a couple of things. One being that my coils were gunking up faster than they used to. Then I realized that I'm slip-streaming more of the vape (larger percentage of the inhale is raw air). So, I'm all like, why am I building this low just to over-slip-stream it and gunk up my coils and waste batt?

So, I added a wrap.

. . . nice.
like it.

So, on another atty/mod, I kept the same # of wraps but increased the ID of the coils by, ohhhhh, IDK, approximately .36mm (give or take a nudge).

So, now, oddly enough, I'm taking a lot more air through the little holes in the atty, and that's resulting in: more flavor, bigger clouds (bro), and actually a bit more of a nic hit. Who'da thunk? I just upped my game by downing my pow-ah by upping my ohms . . .. and sticking my whole face in the trough.

I think maybe my vape preferences were changing and I wasn't paying attention . . . compensating in classic mech-vaper style (small shifts in how I vape without being conscious of it).

So isn't that all very interesting.
