So, i bought mum an aspire pod for her birthday.
She tried vaping in 2013, and refused a long time.
I didn't expect anything, told her she doesn't have to try it.
But 3 days later, she is down to 3 or 4 cigs a day, which get stubbed out quickly because they taste bad.
Started weak, with 6mg unflavoured. Which did make her cough a lot 3 days ago. It has wta so stronger than nic.
She seems determined. And is coughing very little. Wheezing has lessened substantially, and she can get around the house without sounding like darth vader.
Too early to jump to conclusions, but looking good

I think, pretty much my favorite, and pro'ly the best flavor I ever mixologized. (for me . . . to my taste . . . in my subjective li'l world)
So, as I share the mix, bear in mind, the gestalt tastes nothing like any of the components.
It is a true morph to something new and different and beyond the ingredients.
(so, don't imagine the flavors together, it won't make sense . .. but do try it!)
Kay so:
equal parts of FA Grapefruit, HS Congress, and FA Cardamom.
and the taste is . . . indescribable.
and, basically, only hints of any of those components are in the final mix.
(there is a bit of citrus, now and again; but subtle and not out in front)
(there is a dash of bitterness . .. which is pro'ly what made Jager jump into my head)
It is mellow, "blonde", light, effervescent (like a refreshing summer drink with wee bubbles in it), def not too sweet, not too fruity, not too anything, and it doesn't grow tiresome or have any elements that get noisy or tedious on the buds with time.
It's basically got a tinge of all the key elements (a bit sweet, a bit citrusey, a bit herbacious, a bit of earthy/blonde tobacco, melanged to where they're all almost indiscernibly co-mingled)
It's a perfect flavor for the light blue mod.
and I realized something else yesterday, after firing up the blue mod for the first time (and with the new flavor in it): these mods that I'm liking (the red one, and now the blue one, which was a steal) actually remind me a lot of when I was so into REOs. Boxy, simple, tank-like, yada.
In fact, the thought actually crossed my mind that, if REOs had evolved, they could well have turned into exactly this.

Ive cut and pasted this from Coreys Thread.....Hello everybody. I'm still around and still vaping. Although I vape very little these days. I carry it at work, on my days off I rarely vape at all as a matter of fact I set it down with my lunch bag and It's still there waiting to go to work again. My Vape is a trooper. Of course it helps that they are Reo's CC's and Pdib's works of art. Still at 0 nic so I'm good there. Have fun my friends and may you find what you're looking for. Myself I was looking to quit smoking and I did. My battery last a long time too this is my third week on the same battery. And to think I had to replace the battery every day......Such is life.
I got the last 20700 Lil punch. It still works wonderfully. I thought about it and it had already been done. So I added myself to the list with the aid of Peter. Only he and I know of my plight to get this mod but it was all good in the end.
So you're one of the few of us to have that unicorn! Nicely done and congrats on the putting the vape down as well!
Oh I haven't gave vaping up. I still have it to prevent me from returning to the stinkies. I just seldom vape anymore by choice.

i haven't been sent to buy her smokes since sunday, when she got me to buy 2 packs of 40 [which cost $83 here, going up 12% in sept]
she says she notices the difference, and keeps randomly weeding the back yard, for the first time in years [don't think she has braved the back step since chooks died]
she's planning a walk tomorrow, if balance allows it [thrown off by ear condition]

I can't speak for anyone but me. I absolutely want to know how it's going for Mum! That is great news that she's still set on trying to get it to work! Have you tried a flavor for her at all? I know that helped me a ton finding a flavor I loved.
Boring? For what, using the forum for its intended purpose? Good for you helping your mom and good for her sticking with it! Stopping smoking is hard. I am the only one in my environment that vapes. My wife has watched me vape since 2009 and has had to deal with me trying to get her to try it since. When I had my last cig in 2013 (my first REO), I thought she would want to quit as well, but nope. She continues to smoke to this day and REFUSES to give vaping a chance. I even have to go get her smokes occasionally. Its nice for me to hear other vapers helping smokers find another way. Perhaps you're on to something with the unflavored. I enjoy the multitude of flavors, but that may not be the same for my wife. The thing is, I've bugged her so much about it, she flat refuses to try anything else.
