OK, so here's a thing:
Was talking to this guy today (electrician on the job site). Really nice guy. Heard he'd tried vaping before and it wasn't working for him.
Turns out it was like 6 yrs ago that he'd tried. (pro'ly something in the Vamo/tube category, maybe with clearomizer? He gestured ~18650 tube size, said you could put different toppers on it)
Turns out he tried for about a month.
Turns out he's a singer in a band.
Turns out vaping (or not smoking, or both) made him feel like his "lungs were wet" when singing at band practice.
He's shy to try vaping again because (and I'm kin'a summarizing/speculating/connecting-dots here):
He can't be singing all weird for an indeterminate period of time. (I'm sure that his instrument needs to be predictable, reliable, controllable, etc)
It felt weird, . . . not right. (was vaping doing something bad to his lungs? . . . he must've wondered)
So, I'm looking for similar experiences (any singers, or friends of singers, or orators out there?).
I'm looking for similar sensations/symptoms during transition, and some idea of "how long" or "why" or etc.
I'm looking for something to tell this guy that will help him feel more relaxed and in control and willing to try again (like a time-frame or an explanation).
