so, about 440 grit? (per internet)
that's still really fine.
is the paper getting clogged with oil and dust pretty quickly?
when it starts to get clogged with paint is when the heat starts to build.
only solutions I can think of is a much coarser paper, much drier paint (like days/weeks from now, or a heat gun for a day), or change to fresh paper every time it starts getting clogged (which would be very very often, at this point).
one other thing . . . well two: don't sand one area repeatedly (repeated strokes), move around in large random circles (so heat doesn't start building . . . by the way, heat makes clogging happen faster too, with oil involved)
and you could use some kind of lubricant ("wet" sand . .. with oil, solvent, water, soapy water, whatever the media can handle) . . . although I imagine wet sanding isn't really an option here

Had mod lock in fire position

So, cleaned it. Still waiting for it to dry

Meanwhile, rebuilt stumpy
Mixed 100ml of 37mg nic with no WTA.

I have been down to 2.5ml of 36mg WTA in 100ml final brew

Following is approximate. Based on aroma retaining natural ratio

So 0.9mg of combination of nic and minor alkaloids (for the WTA bit, aside from the 37mg nic)

0.072mg of the minor alkaloids

So I figured at this point. Around 0.01ish of each. So what harm can going without do?

I'll find out. When my other mod dries

so, all that mathy-number stuff is to say that you're going to basically skip the WTA or minor alkaloids?
are you going to go bat-guano nutty?
be careful with your self-medication there! (meaning, don't be messing with the balance too much all hasty-like) :)

btw: don't know why, but I had to read this like 3 times before my brain switched from "some sort of new Covid safety measure" to vaping lingo.

(I think I was reading it as *mock* lock in fire position . . . . which made no sense)

cool. i like the sanded look. "timeworn"
perfect

i was thinking of incorporating this quote

“If we take eternity to mean not infinite temporal duration but timelessness, then eternal life belongs to those who live in the present.”

Willem DeKooning did lots of time worn type scrapey sandy stuff in his excavations series

He's the "Woman on bicycle" guy that kinda expanded arshile gorky (last surrealist into first abstract expressionist)

But the excavations were where my namesake jackson pollock (ex wanted me to be pollock when i changed name and jackson was compromise) took dekooning further. Then dekooning took that as inspiration
