It's amazing what the body can acclimate to isn't it? I can only withstand so much though, then it's definitely hibernation mode for me. I can only see the puzzled looks from you all if I mention plugging in our cars and auto-starts. lol..Auto-starts should come standard on every vehicle here IMO.

This one was awhile ago, that was a temp reading from a store's sign, through thick thick ice fog...now that was a cold winter. ugh. LOVE it! So easy to use, and sleek, and heavier than I thought it would be, because it's built solid! The batt fits perfectly and everything. Completely mechanical, so no boards to fry.

I know, my grandfather lived in Escondido and we visited often. I enjoyed my CA very much. You really cannot beat strawberries straight out of the field. How I MISS that.

I will definitely take a picture, we should get to minus 30 next month sometime. Most of my family lives here, I've ventured off here and there a few times but I keep coming back. I really don't know why. lol. The hot men made me laugh, we do have some yes

I went to Alaska once in the summer. I LOVED it! It was such a beautiful place. I'd suffer the cold winters and move there in a heartbeat if my job didn't revolve around high-rise building construction. I think I'd easily retire up there though!
I lived in Minneapolis for a couple winters and I experienced -70 with the wind chill. It was intense! I got off the bus....crossed the street....and my hands were so cold I couldn't feel my keys in my pocket to get the security door of the apartment complex open! I seriously thought I was gonna freeze to death right outside my apartment. If a neighbor wouldn't have been walking out right when they did I just might have!
We lived on the 3rd floor, and we would take cups of water and pour them off the porch and watxh them freeze before it hit the ground~! Fun

My friend (most recent convert) is officially vaping now! He threw out his pipe and cleaned out each ashtray until it was sparkling, and he kept his cigarettes so he can give them out later.
