I'm in the center of the debate about e-cigs & the proposed ban in Indianapolis. Tomorrow I'm going to Indy Vapor shop to have my photo taken for a big article being written about e-cigs & health for The Indianapolis Star. I did an hour long interview for the reporter yesterday. Please visit the CASAA Call to Action page & send an email to the Indy City Councilman telling them that ecigs don't belong in a smoking ban. Vapor is not smoke! Seriously! I need all of the help I can get!

I thought this was an interesting calculation done by a fellow vapor on how much nicotine is actually in certain vegetables ! for all those people who may have an argument about how nicotine is "bad" for you, remind them every time they eat fry's or baked potatoes just what they are taking in!! how awesome is that 
After spending an extraordinarily long time figuring out exactly how much nicotine eggplants contained, I found a proper source and made this page to make Google more helpful in the future. The data is taken from the New England Journal of Medicine vol 329 p437, available here.
Vegetable Nicotine in ng/g g per 1µg nicotine

1µg of nicotine is the equivalent of sitting in a vaguely smoke filled room for three hours. A cigarette contains about 7mg of nicotine, of which 1mg is absorbed. In other words, 100g of eggplant contains 0.01mg of nicotine, and 10kg of eggplant is equivalent to one cigarette. However, absorbtion rates from ingestion are low and nicotine is quickly metabolised, so the effect isn't nearly the same.

boy that's the truth lol !! when i tried the patch along time ago it gave me a rash were the patch was on my skin I have super sensitive skin so they were 0 help for me !!
The patch didn't work for me...couldn't keep it lit!
