Too many talents = single with a lot of time

I write basically what seems natural, and I feel like this is the one story that is really pushing me further. I have no idea if it'll be a novel or just a small short story but it's getting there! That and without "pre-thought" writing, it's helping to constrict my ADHD tendencies It's making me think of rewriting almost everything I have, so we shall see where this takes me!

The Indy City Council is trying to pass a Smoking Ban & e-cigs have been included. I was just interviewed by the Indy Star for a story about having them excluded. I sent in a letter to the editor too, & it may be published as well. They verified me earlier today. Should be an interesting day tomorrow.

Most of the cities here in the DFW area have banned smoking in indoor public places, if not the state. So far as I know, it does not yet include PV's here.

....Ooooh okay. I don't mind indoor bans. *waits for rocks to be thrown* I say that because I don't think it's that big of a deal to have to vape outside... or just to stealth vape I'm not that glued to my PVs!

I'm keeping up with the news on legislation as well and doing what I can. One of the (small albeit) pluses of living in Alaska is these types of things usually don't happen to us until most of the country has had it happen. But that doesn't make any of it ok by me! Smoking is still allowed in bars here but not restaurants as far as I know. Been a long while since I went to a bar.

I've been reading a lot of the posts in the legislation section and some of it just baffles me to no end. Such ignorance running rampant.

Good news today though! I got Vape Mail and the best kind!!! VAL vape mail! Of course the juices are now all defrosting from riding around in a mail truck and 40 below zero. Still can't wait to get into them!!! Thanks for the nice words Candy

Raynen, sorry but I must toss a rock. Banning is banning, no matter which way it's done. Taking away freedoms is not the direction I'd like to go. Where I live, there is no smoking on the beach. On the BEACH? REALLY? Last time I looked, that was outside. There are also 'no smoking' laws in several local cities. Sigh, don't get me started.

Ok, I don't smoke, but I'm still for allowing people the choice and having options. What is done to smokers will end up on our plates, too.

I'm in favor of property owner's rights.

If a bar wants to ban smoking (or vaping) then that's their right to do so.
If non-smokers don't want to frequent a smoking establishment, then they can vote with their feet.
It should not be legislated.

Vaping is harmless to others, so including it in a smoking ban is silly.
We all know that vapor is not smoke.

Learn DIY? Or better yet, pay Candy to smuggle it to you!

Seriously though, you should check into the bans & keep an eye on your local councils to report to CASAA. Be the Alaskan rep lol
