Any recommendations for unflavored 0 nic liquid? I have been using "Dilution base liquid" from One Stop DIY Flavor shop. My DIY juices all seem to have a bit of a chemically taste - sometimes it seems a little metallic, other times maybe a little soapy - I can't really put my finger on it but no matter what % flavoring I use or how long I let the mix sit around before vaping it, that taste is there. It's discouraging :(. I'm sure it's not the nic liquid I have since I have the same problem even if I mix up a 0 nic juice. Anyone else run into this issue, or have any suggestions?

Side question - which has a stronger flavor on its own - pg or vg?

Thanks a million for any insight! :)

I have vaped them both straight and I don't think pg or vg has a flavor. To me vg is just a bit sweet and pg is a bit harsh but neither has a flavor. Metalic tastes can come from your hardware. Also, some vapors have complained about an off taste from the filler material in carts or cartos.

Wow... I am definitely not getting "no flavor". I am either dripping or using a bottom feeder with atty's so there's no filler involved. I think my hardware isn't the issue since I vape vendor juice in the same atty's and there's no off taste. I *really* wish I could figure out what's up with my DIY juice because the flavor is good!... except for that weird off taste I always get.

To follow up: I did try vaping the plain vg and pg liquids and every few hits I would get the very strong taste I don't like, and the taste is just what it is - steam + the metal taste of the atty. When I vape my homemade liquids my son says the house smells like a sauna, and that's exactly the taste - steamy metal sauna. Ew :). I don't know why I'm sensitive to that as a "flavor" when others aren't, but be that as it may, I want to find a way to get past this. I don't notice that taste in vendor juices, and my son doesn't notice that sauna smell either, so there has to be something different.

Soooo I'm trying adding more sweetener (a LOT more - like double what other people seem to be using) and also gently heating the liquid to see if that encourages the flavorings to release their flavors and mix better. Those two things have helped quite a bit, not sure it's completely solved the problem but it's better.
