1.0Ω EVOD coil...

Got bored, so I twisted some 32 Kanthal to around 16 per inch, and did a 5/4 wrap around some 3mm, boiled bamboo wick. I ended up with a nice, even 1.0Ω EVOD coil head.
Too burned out (no pun intended) to actually try it tonight... maybe tomorrow, or maybe I'm not even sure that I want to. Maybe I'll pull it and see if I can squeak in a 6th wrap and make 1.2 or 1.3Ω, 'cause in my head, a 1.0 ohm EVOD just doesn't sound, ah... like a good idea. Man... insomnia makes me do strange things sometimes. ;-)

I did the same thing last nite! Came out about 1.1 using 28 awg 9-11 wraps (top/bottom) at about 1.3mm it rocks with my shade tobacco! I posted but I can't find it maybe its moved to mods ( where no one seems to want to talk if it isn't a dripper build) I just started rebuilding so I haven't started twisting thinner wire yet but I have used some 34 to make a dual coil for an evod with decent vape ( as good as any bdc).
Gotta love it.
