I just bought the boge 1.5 ohm low resistance cartomizers. I used one on my variable voltage ego battery. I am getting almost no vapor at all at any of the voltages (3.2, 3.7, and 4.2). Also the carto is getting REALLY hot. What am I doing wrong? Can someone please help me?

Then you are probably either not filling it COMPLETELY TO CAPACITY and keeping it damp, not settling it properly (I settle cartos on different sides and ends for 15-20 min with thin 80PG/20VG juices), or you are using thick juice that cannot flow quickly enough to rewet the coil area.
And 1.5 ohms single coils are EXTREMELY HOT. if you don't want extremely hot then don't buy 1.5 ohm single coil cartos. Also anything under 1.7 ohms has the potential to damage or kill mass-produce fat batteries. Most use the 2 ohm Boges on Ego and other 510-threaded big batteries 450mah+

I used the condom fill method and did let it sit for a while. It sat for almost an hour. Maybe it is the battery. Any suggestions on a battery that works well with low resistance cartos?
Most of my eGo batts dont like 1.5 ohms...at all.
my VV takes them but i monitor the fitting for abnormal heat...this is what destroy the batts.

...how many times didja fill condom...did the top look "slushy"...batts?...a drop in model like the E-Power or any other drop in batt model................

yep. my ego never liked it either. i ordered one and got too hot for my liking. i prefer boge 2.0s as my everyday carto
If you don't fill them up to be well saturated the first time, you can fry the coil instantly after just a few drags. Better to over fill than to under fill on a fresh carto
AMEN to that...on smaller Boges, I often use the flood and fill method...works great...just be sure to blow out the central air tube.........

Gently blow it out and you'll be fine.
1.5ohms are best on a non-proprietary battery setup like the Prodigy, 3.7V box mod, Icon, Silver Bullet, Bombshell, and any PV that can run a "true" 3.7V. I have 20 boxes of them and love them on a simple 3.7V box mod that I have.
