1.5 ohm vs. 2.0 ohm dual coil cartos?

I think I'm going to finally give dual coils a try.

What is everybody's experience with the 1.5ohm vs. 2.0 ohm?

I would be vaping them primarily on an epower.

I'm pretty religious about the Boge 3.0 single coils even on smaller batts like 510s and have had bad experience with lower resistances, so I'm concerned about 1.5 being too much. OTOH, also worried that 2.0 will be too wimpy on a 3.7v device.

Thoughts from people who use dual coils?

Well I have a epower and the 1.6 work ok for me at that voltage but I like them much better at 5-6v.As far as the 2.0 ones IMO definately to weak for 3.7v I have used them at 6-7v and much better here again my opinion.

Just seen you said you use 3.0 boges on reg 510 batts so the 1.6 dcc maybe just what YOU want for epower.Keep in mind the dual 1.6 act like 3.2, and the 2.0 act like 4.0.

You're comparing apples and oranges when comparing DCs to 3ohm Boges, as the DCs would act as 2-3ohm boges in one. When the 2-3.2ohm coils are in parallel, the resistance becomes 1.6. So, imagine firing 2 Boge 3ohm at the same time. It's pretty warm. I like my 1.6 DCs @ 4.2v or higher as they get seasoned. I'd imagine the 2ohm DCs would be less as impressive @ 3.7v. I'd get the 1.6s, but I like a full, warm vapor to simulate smoking sensation. Good luck with whichever you choose!

Well I'm not the best electrical savvy person but from my understanding the 1.6 dcc's act like 3.2 ohm single coil and from my experience with boge 3.2 and 1.6dcc about the same on 6v to me dcc definately a little stonger which I like.
