1.8 Ω head for eGo 1000 mAh?

Is it OK to use a 1.8 Ω head on a eGo Twist battery? I read somewhere it may damage it.

Yeah, go for it. It'll be OK; those batteries should handle it with no problem. You just may get a little more voltage drop at the highest setting.

On mine the wick got all burnt and now it doesn't work it just gurgles and pops, and that was on 3.2 lol.

I've been using them in my Vivi Nova's without any problems on the big twist. Run it from 3.2 all the way up to 3.8 all the time.

Same here. Also 1.5 ohm attys with no trouble. My pro tip of the day: start at the lowest setting and work slowly up until you get the desired result.

I got the burnt thing with the LR. The SRs were/are doing fine.
