1.8 is generally a more intense experience (in a good way, if you're into it - I am) but there are some caveats. Like Kaezziel said, it will drain the battery a bit more quickly.

If it's the clearo with the dangling wicks, they'll also want to burn more easily with 1.8s. They don't wick super well to begin with, and 1.8 ohms will dry the wicks more quickly than 2.4. Probably not the best to chain vape, unless you keep the tank pretty full and move the tank around to help the wicks out.

I prefer the 2.4ohm for the longer battery life & to keep things cool as possible.

However some e-juices simply tastes better at 1.8 ohms & some Clearomizers are optimized for the lower ohm coils, such as the larger capacity ones like this.

Had to also purchase this in order to swap coils, as the tank had a fixed coil.

The 2.5, 2.4 & 2.2 ohm coils doesn't give good vape, however the 1.8 ohm ones works well with the setup. They just don't last as long.

All other things being equal, it's a matter of personal preference.

Correct me if i'm wrong someone, but i believe the higher OHM, the more power is needed from your battery to get a good vape. I had some 2.4ohm replacements for my EVOD and i had to turn my voltage from 3.8v to 4.5, and even then it wasn't too great. From experience all i can say is, if you have a small battery go with the lower OHM, no lower than 1.5 though. That's just from my experience however.
