Up to the limits of the power source...and the target's ability to consume/dissipate power.

Resistance too low = "BOOM/FLASH/POP/FIRE/SMOKE... you get the idea.

I guess that would depend on your definition of what is to low, what battery you used or what regulated mod you used. On a regulated device it would simply mean it wouldn't fire. And depending on your regulated device that can now mean as low as .2 or .5 ohms. On a mechanical, then one must look at the amp capabilities of the battery and build accordingly.

Hi guys:

May The Force be with you.

The less resistance the more Amps drawn?.

Thank you in advance for your kind replies.

Happy Valentine to those who believe in it.

Carlos.

Power = volt(squared) / ohms

You get more power with more volts or less ohms.

Nowadays with electronics we bump the volts up instead of using lower ohms.

Similarly simple question, 2.1Ohm single coil vs 2.1ohm dual coil. Dual coil uses more power because it has two coils, right? Or is the ohmage the ohms across both coils?

a 2.1 ohm dual coil has 2 4.2 ohm coils.
Same overall power if the voltage is the same.

If you had 2 2.1 ohm coils placed in parallel to make a dual coil, they would together make a 1.05 ohm coil.

If you use a VW mod, you set the wattage, and it will adjust the volts for you.

Most common tanks work around 5 watts.

On a varible voltage battery (eGo twist), does the dial control a voltage regulator (semi-conductor type) or is it simply a 3 pole pot?

All I can say is its a continuous rotation from 3.2 to 4.8 volts;

just wrecked a dead one; its got a blue pot with the white rotation button unside.
