Aside from my cigarettes, I am a heavy mainliner of coffee. Have been or about 14 years. After one month on the e-cig, I am noticing I consume a considerably less amount now. I could dust off a pot of coffee a day no problem, now I seem to be maxing out at 3 big cups. I take this as a healthy sign and I'm not complaining but it has to be linked to no longer using analogs. Anyone else experience this?

You too!!! I thought it was just me, I guess the two great loves of my life; coffee and cigerettes just natually go together (and beer of course), only now I don't drink beer, haven't for years and my coffee consumption has shriveled up to only about five cups a day. I know its a good thing considering I drank around four or five pots of coffee a day, even in the Summer, but wow, quitting smoking really is going to save my life.

This is interesting, since our caffine addictions didn't suddenly lessen. Either our sleep is more restorative now that we aren't on analogs or there is some kind synergy of analogs and coffee the pushed the excessive coffee use.

There is a connection there - I read an article somewhere not too far back that scared me to death about how the chemicals in coffee and the ones in cigarettes work together to form new, interesting and delightfully fatal new compounds; I think that's why I always liked them together so much.

And I've found I just don't need as much coffee to get my fix either - I drink about half what I used to.

Being retired Navy and a retired smoker, I used to drink a lot of coffee. I have a cup in the morning and maybe two on the weekends. Almost zilch on the coffee now. I just lost the desire for it. I noticed this morning, I had two cups... and felt a little tightness in my chest, almost started to panic... but realized I drank more coffee then I usually do now.

I believe that nicotine is a stimulant. I get more nicotine with vaping than I did with analogs because I use my PV more frequently. I am a midnight shift person and I get through my shift with only 24 oz of coffee. I drink one 10 oz cup while I am getting ready for work. My caffeine use has been cut in half.

My coffee & diet Dew habits haven't changed during my year of vaping. I drink a 34oz coffee in the morning & at least a liter of diet soda through the day. I use a lot of ice though. The soda is probably diluted 50% with all of the ice melting. I don't really like full strength soda anymore.

I used to drink 6 measuring cups in the morning and more later in day. Now, just 4 in the morning and none later. I noticed it almost immediately. The coffee didn't taste right, which was my taste buds waking back up. I had cut out coffee for a day or two, but then went to the above stated 4 cups. I have no doubt that I still enjoy coffee, and likely am still addicted to coffee. But I don't think that I would have a splitting headache if I stopped.

Analogs and coffee used to be the two things i couldn't do without. My mornings would start with a big mug of coffee and around 3-5 sticks of analogs. Throughout the whole day, i would sip coffee interminably and my day would end with another cup before sleeping. When i started vaping, my coffee consumption gradually decreased and now, i only drink it upon waking up. There are days though when i would forget my morning coffee ritual.

I thought it was only me. Glad to know i'm not alone.
