Pretty new to this, but i been hearing a lot of good stuff on Provari. I say buy a Provari and have a back up of a fully charge battery for now. Then wait for a new version of the Provari with a 2012 technology in it. Then use the old Provari as your back up. It just weird how the lcd on the provari looks like the old 1990's calculator. I think they should upgrade the new ones that would come out with a touchscreen lcd like a smart phone.
Having said that I have a Provari on my way and it arrives tomorrow. I too was debating on what backup I should get, but I would stay pat and use this one as a back up, when a new ones comes out.
