Got my wife a new Joye ego-T kit last Monday. Saturday 1 Atty kissed off. Yesterday, Sunday, the other atty crapped out. On my VOM both register no ohms at all(Infinite resistance), poof, cooked! I week old on the ego-T stock kit batts. She does tend to chain vape(like MadJack's "research monkeys"[love that expression, damned funny I think]) but on the stock eGo-T batts? What do you think happened? I can't figger it out.:(

Thank y'all

Could be the e-liquid..I use Carmel Tobacco and it's kills atomizers fast..out of 4 I killed 3 within a couple days and the other died in 2 weeks..took them apart and the coils were gunked up good. CE2's held up to it though and after that I only use them..I make my own atomizers for dripping Carmel Tobacco out of CE2 parts and they hold up good..but they need to be burned off a lot because of the gunk...

She says she was vaping RY4-50/50 pretty heavy. Also, she mentioned she soaked them(the T-type attys) in isopropyl alcohol to clean them. Don't know whether the alcohol ruins them or not.

Going to order CE2s, would you suggest a source please?

Thank you

CE2's are cartomizers just so you know..I usually would suggest MadVapes but they don't carry them because of a supplier issue. I have a site bookmarked that I haven't tried yet but it seems like a good place~> Cartomizers You might want the metal tubed CE2's..the clear ones or clearomizers are cool but sometimes leak (the older style ones)..don't buy the CE3's as I have heard some bad things with them. If she wants the clear ones buy the ultimate ones as they are supposed to no..also make sure to get the 510 ones...

Yea, for sure NO CE3s. Wife blew up 3 batts including her passthrough a week and 3 days ago. Went to our brick and mortar where we got 'em and they said the SmokyMizer CE3s would never do that. The owner tried the CE3 out on his batt and it promptly blew his batt. He's a good guy, replaced the batts and refunded for the CE3s. No complaint.

Bookmarked the link you gave , will check it out. Probably go with the CE2s, might try the clearomizers too. On the stock joye-T batts what ohms cartos would you recommend? Seems to be a choice between regular and LR sometimes.

Thanks

I use 2.4-2.6ohm's I think they are the same as the 2.4ohm ones on that site..I tried 3ohm (2.8ohm on that site probably) but they didn't get hot enough especially when the battery would start to run down. Read the tips below the description on how to care for them..the clearomizers seem to give the best flavor..the old ones at least I haven't tried the new tubes yet.

If you click the button five times the battery shuts off. Sometimes people are inadvertently shutting off their battery. If it's not the battery, you might want to try dual coil cartomizers (Smok tech). They are really easy to use, provide tons ofd smoke, and don't leak. They're also cheap, and when they plug up, you can soak them in isopropyl alcohol overnight, blow out the moisture and let them dry for two days, and re-use. I get a week of heavy vaping before I need to clean.

Oh yeah I forgot about the lock he should try it. I personally don't recommend polly filled cartomizers like the dual coils but they do leak a bit less as they use a poly-fill that suspends the liquid in it. I don't think CE2's leak as much as vaped juice condensates on the top O-ring and when it becomes too much it goes down the tube..if you watch for it you don't run into any issues with them much and CE2's tend to let the flavors through more IMO...
