Title of the thread is misleading perhaps... bwahaha.

Anyhow... on to my newbie questions...

So I have an inferno from volcano, bought about 30 or so sample juices and a couple larger bottles (got the 30ml flavor of the week from VB - watermelon... good stuff) and also got that 180ml caramel tobacco deal from bluemist for $15... ANYHOW...

I wanted to try out a smaller pen-style or realistic sized (almost) e-cig... so I just ordered a magma battery from volcano and a charger... the total was like $14 and now I have another e-cig?? Am I missing something here? It appears the clearomizers and cartos I bought are the same for both inferno and the magma... so I should be good to go?? Seems awful cheap!

Any advise on preparing clearomizer and cartomizer for the first use? bought them from volcano as well, they will be here today, so I just want to be prepared.

Do vaporbomb juices need to be steeped? took the caps off all of them yesterday evening, so they are sitting in my office like that now... wondering if I should try them or just let them steep longer? Anyone with good experience with vaporbomb let me know please!

Thats about it... thanks in advance!

PS: im really loving volcano stuff, not sure why, guess cuz it was my first e-cig purchase ever

Not quite

1. You cannot charge a slim 510 battery on an Inferno/Ego charger - you will kill the slim 510 battery

2. You cannot use any LR (low resistance) parts on the slim 510 battery or you will kill it

You won't kill it immediately but you will kill it. The slim 510 batteries need their own charging cable and you need to make sure the attys and cartomizers you put on it are standard resistance.

I just got a Riva (a fat battery 510 similar to Inferno) and I am planning to mark my LR parts with a fine point paint pen to try to make sure I don't put them on my slim 510 batteries.

BTW - last time I looked VaporLeaf.com had the cheapest 510 charging cables. And I already labeled my Riva's charging cable with a labeler.

I did get a magma charger, it was on sale for $4.99... so the battery and charger were like $13 combined. And all I have are standard attys except one LR I bought for my inferno when making the magma purchase.

So I should be good to go! Seems like a pretty cheap way to go.

Yep - nice to have things that are compatible! My first 3 ecigs were not compatible.

Re standard stuffing cartos - no preparation needed.

Re clearomizers - dunno. Early on some people complained about bad taste on the first fill but people seem pretty happy w/ those new XL ones. You do need the filling kit syringe and tip though some find a short blunt needle easier. I am planning to drop to 0mg next and I am saving clearomizers for that. I wonder if anyone has found a good little carrying case for those xls. I carry my ecig stuff in my pockets and I would be afraid of cracking one. I have a roomy PCC but those clearomizers would be too tall for the carto slots.

I've got lots of VaporBomb juice. Their tobacco flavors take forever to steep properly, I think they're best after a month. The others I usually steep for a week. If you notice a peppery flavor, let'em steep and it'll go away. My general rule when I get juices is to taste them all and steep the ones that don't taste like I expect them to.

Haha, that is funny because I just got the VB order yesterday... dripped the virginia menthol and it feels like I am smoking a pepper grinder...

So this will go away with steeping??

It should. When you put the caps back on.....be sure to shake it up real good. Also, don't let you ejuice get exposed to direct sunlight. The sun will start to deteorate(sp) the nic. with as much juice as you bought, I would put some of the 180ml juice into a smaller bottle and put the rest of the big bottle in a dark, cool place for storage....I actually store mine in sealed containers in the fridge and prevent light from getting to them, so I wrap them with a small cloth or papertowel inside the container. I find they stay much fresher that way.

I love jalepenos, I lived in New Mexico about 50 miles from the Mexican border for 40 years. They're great in a breakfast burrito with a couple of eggs, chorizo and cheese. I just don't care to vape them, at least not until some vendor comes out with a breakfast burrito flavored e-juice, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

The hubby is smoking off a clearo right now ( a volcano one coincidentally) and he likes it... he smokes a pack 1/2 a day but seems to think it will last him a week before he has to refill... We shall see :)
