and its all going ok. Few q's though..Im using an ego big battery version with totally wicked 18mg real tabs.

All ok after a week but yesterday I got some vg and mixed a batch 50/50. Not great, loads of vapor but throath kick almost gone Would I get more kick from a standard out of the bottle strength than I would from a higher stock mixed with vg to mimic that strength? Any way of mixing and keeping the kick or is it always going to lessen it?

Also, I used to smoke approx 15-20 golden virginia filtered rollies a day. Can't work out what approx strength nic I should be looking at using. Any ideas / pointer for a maths reject?

18-24mg should be fine. Here's the thing about PG versus VG:

VG= lots of vapor
PG= powerful throat hit

some people like to mix them 80/20 (80%PG and 20%VG) so they can have enough of both. personally, it's all about the TH for me so I just stick with 100%PG.

As for adding PG or VG to your existing juice; you also reduce the flavor when you do this, just FYI.

Thanks Rosa. Seem to be ok with the 18mg so far so i'll stick around that.

How does a higher mg cut, say 36 cut with a PG VG mix such as above compare to just straight 18mg? Can you get it close?

Have had a wee look there alright, thanks but not mad about getting into flavors and stuff right now. Just want to minimise cost by cutting a little bit if possible

Well, like I said, if you buy your flavor in 36mg and cut it 50/50 with straight PG or VG, you will end up with 18mg juice BUT it's going to taste 'off' because you will have also cut the flavoring in half.

One thing you can do though is buy a 'doubler', I know they sell them at Tastyvapor for sure. A doubler is just what it sounds like; it's 0mg juice (PG or VG or a percent mix of both) that's just flavored. You can either vape it as it is and get 0mg nicotine or mix it 50/50 in a same (or similar) flavored juice to double the volume and cut the mg nicotine down.

Thanks for the doubler tip Rosa. Do the manufacturers make the liquids equal in nature so smoking a lower nic count out of the bottle, even 0, vapes the same as a higher with the only difference being the nic delivered? Haven't seen a 0mg liquid over this side of the pond but will look into it.
