I bought a 510-T about 3 weeks ago, but didn't have any nicotine juice yet, so had still been smoking.
One week ago today, I got my first order of nic from overseas. Haven't touched a cigarette since. YAY!
Have since switched to an eGo-T because of the poor battery life of the 510 and so far loving it.

I do get occasional cravings so I keep one setup with 24mg DK-Tab and after a few puffs on that the cravings go away. Other than that I have been experimenting with different flavours in lower strengths 12-18mg. My favs so far are spearmint and grape hookah.

I'm 26 and started smoking when I was 12-13. Given up a couple of times mainly due to being pregnant but have always started again afterwards. My partner smokes and it was hard to resist!
I didn't smoke heavily during the day, maybe 2-3, but in the evening I would chain smoke 10-20 rollies.

I'm loving not having stinky hands, clothes and hair. Could be just my imagination but my teeth already look a little whiter
Working on trying to get my partner to quit too, he will have a few puffs of the ego and a couple of times he has take one to work with him, but he's still smoking.

welll just thought I would say hi and thanks for this forum and all the information everyone posts, slowly reading through it =)

Well done buddy!

I'm from Melbourne, and had a similar experience, it's been about a month for me :D
it's such a great feeling isn't it, realising from time to time that - hey, it's been x number of days, weeks, years! I love it (and can't wait for the years mark!)

make sure you tell all your friends, they're great for support! many of my friends smoke, and i've not yet converted any to e-cigs, but they all support me so much.

I wish you only the best of luck with this, and stick with it - it only gets easier (for a month at least :p)

Congratulations on your quit!! Be sure and (a) stock up. Extra batteries, extra atomizers, extra juice. And (b) do not pressure partner even remotely. Just be the example and the partner will quit when he's ready. Certainly offer it a lot. People normally will come to prefer it to the taste of a cig but that does take a while, especially if there is mental resistance. It took me a year and a half of still 'sneaking' the occasional cig before I truly didn't want one any longer. I gave myself permission to have one when I wanted it, so long as I still kept on with the ecigs. Eventually they won. Congratulations again -- be very proud of yourself, especially for quitting YOUNG!

A week without cigarettes. That's HUGE:) If your BF is taking one of your eGos to work occassionally he's not smoking as many cigs. Good for him, too. Some people take longer to transition to 100% vaping. Maybe that's why it works so well. No rules. Fast, slow or long transitions all work. Congrats.
