1 week vaping update

Well, it's been exactly one week. Apart from one cigarette for testing purposes, to see how I feel about them, I have not missed them, and am enjoying vaping.
I don't seem to have used much juice this week, it seems 2-3ml a day seems average, but I have no where near used 20ml of juice this week? I received a dual coil cart 2 days ago, and put about 2ml of my favourite whiskey cream in, and I am still vaping on it, although I have other carts I am flipping between, but this is used the most.
I really need to stop spending for a while, I keep seeing reccomendations for other bits, and it is very tempting to want to try! I am happy with my Riva510's for the moment, I carry 2 around, 1 5ml juice, and 3 or 4 carts.
Looking forward to UK Vapefest soon to try out some new flavours. should be fun!

It has been easy this week, I have occasionally felt like an analogue, but a few vapes, and savouring the flavours and thinking, if this was an analogue it would taste so bad! has controlled it.
Thanks for the support, it has helped, reading other peoples experiences, and helpfull comments!

Congrats! I know when I first started, there was a lot of temptation to go back to regular cigarettes. I don't really know why, because as you said, vapor tastes so much better than cigarettes, and it just makes you feel cleaner and more healthy. Still, for some reason, I felt myself being pulled back to those nasty cigarettes.

The most important thing, is don't beat yourself up about it. You are on the right track. If you slip up and have a regular cigarette here and there, oh well. Trust me, it will quickly get to the point to where you can't even smoke an entire cigarette. You will be begging for the end of it so you can get back to your pv. Just be patient with yourself.

Again, congratulations on a week of vaping. Here's to many more weeks in the future!

Congrats on your week! (And your two, Wizard10000 and ChristianC!) I know that felt like an important milestone for me, too -- and like many I posted a first-week update, too. It's like that first mile in the marathon; the first all-important steps are behind you and now you're well on your way and doing fine. The initial cost at the beginning may be a bit steep but I think you'll find that with the money you save on cigarettes you'll quickly have more money than you did before -- which you will probably, as a matter of course, decide would be well spent on trying more juices. Or a different cartomizer. Or some sort of tank system. Or a mod. Or...

Think of it this way: You'll still probably never spend as much on vaping as you did on smokes. :)

Don't push it too hard at first. It can take a few months before your lungs are really noticeably clearer and longer still before you're back to somewhere around the capacity your lungs are fully capable of. But the good thing is that it's quite realistic to think about getting back into more vigorous fitness activities because you'll be able to breathe better and go longer without wheezing as much.

I have another test now, I am just off out to a restaurant and club for the first time, so should be interesting, I am not going to attempt to vape inside, I will go outside with the smokers and try and convert them!!!

Good luck! Let us know how it turns out. The more the merrier!
