Hi
Been reading these forums for several weeks and have learnt a lot from the people here so have decided to sign up rather than just lurk around. Maybe my story will help someone who is thinking about going from analogue to digital.
Some background - I got really interested in vaping about 4 years ago. I tried various devices including the original screwdriver but it just did not do it for me. I did not get the throat hit etc that I needed to give up the analogues. I also found it hard to be the only person who knew about ecigs when out and about. I also now think that I should have ventured further than tobacco flavours then and tried the colas, fruits, menthols, etc that I am liking now.
Flash forward to a month ago. I decided to try vaping again after seeing the new devices with Variable Voltage and tanks etc (vaping was really messy when I first tried). Ordered some ego twists and cart tanks and lots of juice. Stopped analogues after two days and have been vaping since (I do occasionally have snus when drinking if I get cravings for the other stuff I am sure is in analogues). I did carry my analogues around at first for peace of mind but now they are in a drawer never to be touched again.
Thanks to this and other forums - I am now broke from investing in the below
On my still to buy list - lots of liquids, another provari in case of breakage, more tanks, a tackle box to store everything, a torchwood mod (like the looks), I have the vaping spending bug
Thanks to all the members on this and other forums who spend the time advising newbies what to do. It is because of your experience and advice that I am a vaper now and have dropped the analogues. I hope someone thinking about trying vaping reads this and is motivated to try it out themselves.

- I bought some more ego batteries and carts. In my experience, mistake number 1 is to run out of juice, liquid or battery while away from home. Egos are really good basic battery for out and about vaping and the twist is excellent introduction to VVing but is likely to lead you to buy something more expensive- see below.....
- I am now the proud owner of a Provari mini with several batteries which is the best vaping device I have tried. It goes out and about with me on weekends and always has a tank or mark-t repairable on it.
- The Mark-t mentioned above is a good repairable dripping atomiser
- I have ordered about 20 bottles of various flavours and mixes (all between 18-20mg) and keep finding myself looking at reviews and sites of flavours I have yet to try...the variety of flavours is a real good alternative to the taste of smoke on the analogues
- I have carto's of various resistance for ease of use at work etc (look up the condom method of filling if you are new)
- I have several viva nova tanks with replacement atomisers of various resistances - really easy to use and not messy
- I have some 3ml cart tanks for out and about - I view them as almost disposable so am happy to take to pub etc
- I just ordered a DID repairable with high hopes - I figure any atomiser with over 500 pages of discussion on this forum must be good
On my still to buy list - lots of liquids, another provari in case of breakage, more tanks, a tackle box to store everything, a torchwood mod (like the looks), I have the vaping spending bug
