So today I celebrate my 1 year of smoke free. Over 9000 cigarettes not smoked. Well after almost 40 years of smoking this is a great accomplishment for me. Anyways, I posted on a smoke free app and mentioned my vaping and the comments were incredible. I was basically told that it wasn't really a 1 year anniversary because I still had nicotine in my system and that I traded one addiction for another. I tried to explain that nicotine was no worse than the caffeine in their coffee. One person even said that it was the same if she smoked light cigarettes rather than her regular cigarettes and claimed she was smoke free. I was so proud of myself and got shot down by a bunch of ignorant people. You'd think that the ones trying to quit would be less judgmental. Pffft. I was wrong.
