10 days, and counting...

Just wanted to celebrate with you all my life-changing event (off analogs and PVing my brains out!) is now 10 days old, and counting!

I haven't reverted to even one analog, not one puff even. No cravings for them either! Though last night, leaving the airport, I saw a guy light up, and was really tempted to buy one off of him. But then I caught a wiff of his smoke and it smelled so bad, that immediately passed.

Very happy here, glad to have found you guys/gals, and the PV way of life!

I know what you mean about the smell, I went to the hardware store yesterday and one of the workers must have just had a smoke break... I thought, "That's what I smelled like? Why didn't anyone tell me? Oh wait..."

isn't it amazing how bad they smell? if you get that craving that you need one, just do it! why? because you'll see how aweful they taste.... this will kill the craving for a long time. This has been the case with alot of people....... they taste literally like an ash tray

I hadn't come across this advice yet, thanks for the tip!

Why and how does it dehydrate you I wonder? Was wodnering why I was getting some headaches lately, despite the chain-vaping of course!

Well, from what I understand, the inhaled vapor attracts the moisture in your breath and mucous membranes and this is most of what we see in the exhaled vapor plume. I didn't know about the dehydrating effects of vaping my first week and I got dehydrated . Now I keep some water handy and try to drink at least 2-3 quarts a day. I was never a water drinker before and now it's getting to be a part of my routine to drink often. Cheers!

Rock on! 10 days leads to 20 then a month then a year and so it goes. Indeed the smell of those things are typically enough to keep one away...makes vaping even cooler yet Congrats.

And I don't agree... don't even take a puff, cause you might end up finishing it, even if it doesn't taste good... isn't how almost every smoker keep coming back to it, no ? happened to me... more than once
