I'm looking for a mechanical mod that is the best bang for my buck, fits a rba tank flush, and is just a solid performing device. I was interested in maybe purchasing the sigelei 8, but one of main suppliers (Vapor Tek USA) is out of stock. Not a huge fan of how the Sigelei 8 button sticks out and where it is positioned, but for the price it seems like a great deal. How does The Natural compare to the Sigelei 8 in performance? Exhale Vapors is one of the cheapest suppliers I found for The Natural at $54.98. A Caravela clone would be sweet; although, I've heard a few people that have some early production models and they're complete crap. When I mention the higher-end mods, I'm looking for a chinese clone. The Silver Bullets are cool, but lately I've been more interested in the stainless steel mods with the clean look of a stainless steel RBA tank on top. I feel like I can get more bang for my buck than spending $80 for a Silver Bullet when looking into a Sigelei 8 or The Natural. If there are other flat-top, uniform mechanical mods, please link me to them in the posts and share your information on them.

Somewhere in New England
I have The Natural and a TEC mod.

I LOVE the Natural !
Great, well built, smooth looking, quality SS mod.
Running a 18650 with a SmokTech Octopus RDA...
and both are fantastic...and a bargain.

Now, the TEC mech...
chrome...print manget
Bottom fire button...PITA
you half to screw the lock down...
to set the thing down !!!
telescope...looks like a fire hydrant !
Not Smooth to hold- or look at
...large and cold.
guess you can tell...it's not in my rotation now.
Would not buy another Botton Fire !

YMMV

You mention not liking the sig 8 button, do you mean you dont like side buttons?

If you want bottom switch mod for cheapm off the top of my head i can only think of the K100 (empire clone) but it doesnt sit flush with a 22mm rba. It helps if you specify what rba you plan to use.

No, side buttons are fine. It's just how the button sticks out far from the mod instead of being flush with the device (it's more of a personal preference). Not a dealbreaker though, I can live with it. I've seen the K100 Empire Clone before, but I really wasn't a fan of the body design. I really haven't put much thought into what RBA I wanted, but to list a few that I like: RSST Genesis and Odysseus. Thanks.

check vaporjoesblog he has links to several of the seig mechs.

i have the natural and like it but its not my main use mod

On VaporJoesBlog, are they reviews of the devices or just specifications? I already know that I like the Sigelei 8 more than the rest of them. Just curious as to why The Natural is not your main device and what is your main use mod? Thanks.

Good to know. Haha you definitely listed more negatives about the Sig than The Natural and the guy above you said he likes The Natural, so I'm leaning a little more on that side. Thanks.

........ is a guy who spends most days searching the web for vaping deals, and he finds some good ones, too he will have pictures, and usually a link to where its for sale with coupons from him most of the time. you tube or APV forum is usually where the reviews are.

TBO im the wrong person to ask for advice or reviews/info on a mech, even ones i own, as i only use mine to set up my rebuildables/genesis atomizers and got the natural for a great price and like the look. i personally dont like unregulated vaping

I just got the #8 and it's awesome especially for the price. Would love to get my hands on a #19 but can't find it anywhere in stock :(

As far as the button sticking out you can remedy that with a couple washers. I actually made a washer out of a paperclip :p

Just got mine haven't had a chance to go get washers. Paper clip idea is brilliant works well!

I know you said mod only but for less than $100 bucks this is a killer deal http://.........blogspot.com/2013/04/wow-smoktech-natural-rsst-and-kick-9788.html Mod+RBA+Kick also like sigelei #19 Sigelei #19 telescopic mod only $49.99 with free shipping.

Dang, that first deal is nice. I wonder if I should wait for a while though before getting a kick? I like the design of the #8 more. Thanks.

Ah ok. Well you gave me good information.

Haha sweet. I like that parts for mechanical mods can be found at hardware shops if you're doing DIY work.

PureSmoker LEGACY Standard [18650]

Only had mine for a month, but glad i got it. Perfect size and construction for work.

Batteries

Good prices on AW batteries also :)

Yeah, not a fan of the legacy. I'll check out the batteries though, thanks.

I know your posted limit is $100 but why don't you add $20 and go for a CCPV by Chris Creations sold at OKC Vapes. It's a tried and tested mod. You can even find torture tests on YouTube.

Not bad. I don't like the design very much with the threaded top and see-through sides.

I just got a sigelei #8 at 1am last night.

Nice. Where'd you buy?

Beware that sig13 and sig8 are larger than 22mm in diameter. So if you put a 22mm rba (which is very popular) on there you will have a little ledge sticking out. Minor issue, but if youre as nitpicking about your setups as i am it may bug you endlessly. I let both my 8 and 13 go in the classies because of that issue.

Why does the top and bottom of the tube have knurling? The standard Sigelei 8 looks like a chrome finish. Thanks for linking the Drawtube (never heard of that mod before).

I got the Sigelei #8 in on Friday. I haven't been able to put it down since. If you do a couple of quick, easy mods to it, it vapes like a champ. And you can use the little white mouthpieces from cartos for spacers in the switch. Just trim it down with a razor.

Awesome, good to hear. That's cool you were able to use those carto mouthpieces for that. Did you find out about that or did you just think of it?

Damn, not something I'd like to see, but I think I could live with it. What's the diameter of the Sig 8?

The Sigelei 8 is back in stock at Vapor Tek USA. Also, when I see people say, "Just upgrade the mod with brass contacts", what are the contacts on the mod and where do you find parts? Also, I read that the Sigelei 8 is not a true mod because the tube is fixed. Isn't there a screw on tube to fit a larger battery or kick?
