I have only been vaping for a couple of months but I absolutly love it. Although I haven't seen much of a savings over regular cigs because I can't stop buying different crap. I recently discovered that the PG gives me some wicked headaches and kind of makes me feel like crap, which really sucks because thats where the best throat hit seems to be. Can anyone suggest some 100% VG juices that would give me that sweet throat hit that i'm looking for? Somebody had told me Johnson Creek Smoke does so I orderd a bottle of the tennessee flue cured it's on it's way. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I saw that Perfumer's Apprentice sells jalapeno flavoring. I wonder if this would have a similar effect or if it would just cause your mouth to tingle?

Thread on TH: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/231548-part-diy-gives-throat-hit.html
Video is worth a minute or two in Old Soldier's post.

I made some black pepper liquid DIY after reading this thread. I'm a weenie so I went weak. It def does the job. It mentions PureVapes sells black pepper juice but I couldn't find it. Good luck. Hope you get your TH worked out soon.

Throat hit comes mainly (90%) from two things: nicotine strength and warmer vapor. The way to get warmer vapor is to have a PV with better batteries. A 5 volt PV, such as the GLV2, or a good variable volt PV such as the Darwin or Provari will provide the really nice warm vapor, that along with higher nic strength will definitely improve throat hit. Even with 100% VG liquid which I sometimes use, you will get very good throat hit with the right nic strength and a better battery PV. You can also use dual coil cartomizers which will help provide warmer vapor also IF your PV has big enough batteries to handle the DCC's.

I don't know what kind of hardware you use, but Alien Visions E-Juice has multiple blends in 100% VG, including all their tobacco flavors. I vape Boba's Bounty daily on low-resistance and dual-coil cartomizers, and the throat hit is quite spectacular.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. In my opinion, Boba's has next to no throat hit, along with Gorilla Juice. However, Hype has a really good one. It might have to do with the fact it's a 10% pg juice.

I use the Johnson creek "domestic" flavor (18mg nictotine) with a pro-vari and low resistance 510 atomizers, to me its a decent substitute for winston lights. I ordered the "tennessee cure" about a year ago or so but didn't like it, it was too sweet and had a vanilla aftertaste.

How do you like that pro-vari? I was just reading about that today and thought that looked too cool. I almost ordered the "domestic" but some of the reviews I read said it had a minty after taste. Is that what you think too?
