100% VG in a ProTank 3?

I'm looking into getting a protank 3, and switching my juice from a 60/40 pg/vg blend to 100% vg blend to get more vapor. Will 100% vg work well with protanks? If not, what clearomizer would you reccommed i use? Thanks in advance!

I use a protank 1 and VG with no real problems. Some flavors/brands gunk the coils faster than others, but that would probably happen with PG/VG mix also, maybe not as fast.

Jake I used to vape 100%vg but went to 20/80 because of dry hits with the protank , a problem that can be solved by rewicking with cotton but I've found that tanks that use the Aspire heads do better with thick juices than the protank does I'm posting a link for a tank that lets you use both Aspire heads & Protank heads , the Aspire is pretty much trouble free no matter what ratio you use . I'm using a PT2 and my new go-to juice is 70/30 VG/PG and I've some 100% VG aswell. With my stock heads even the 70/30 juices would dry burn on me quite often. With a cotton micro coil modification if swallows whatever I put in it. If it's 100% VG I do my wick a bit longer than usual. No gurgle or flood so far and the "lightest" juice I've tried is 50/50.

Given my admittedly limited experience with Kanger tanks, I'm of the mind that they just don't wick high VG juices well. My Mini PT2 gets dry hits on almost every hit longer than 4 seconds with a 60% VG juice or higher. I've actually been trying to switch to higher VG juices because the PG just tears up my throat anymore and gives me crazy headaches.

So no, wouldn't try to use a 100% VG juice on a stock Protank, especially the PT3 with its dual coils. You'll just get dry hits that much faster.

My wife has been running 10PG/90VG in her mini Protank 2 for a couple weeks now and no problems at all with feeding. I run 50/50 in mine with no problems.

If your looking just for more vapor a Protank may not be the best choice IMO. If your just looking to blow big clouds try a dual coil dripped with hot micro coils.
