Is it possible to have a 100% VG based e-liquid? I didn't think it would be as most concentrates contain PG

Yes, there are actually quite a few e-liquid makers that sell 100% VG juice. Some even allow you to choose the exact PG/VG ratio you want.

As you said, a lot of e-liquid mixers and manufacturers do use flavorings with PG in them - usually these vendors will call their liquid max VG rather than 100% VG.

As caferacer said, there are some that really do offer 100% VG e-liquids. One that comes to mind is About Purity : Heather but there are a few more out there and the number is growing all the time.

Ive used ECblends 100%VG before. Works good. just make sure your tanks, if you are using tanks, can handle them. Some cant.
