1000 MaH eGo Twist battery Not Charging

I just put my eGo Twist on the charger after 12 hours of all day vaping at around the 4 volts mark and mostly with a Submarine tank on it. Performance didn't decline at all towards the end. It was putting out puffy white clouds of vapor up to the last minute before it began flashing. Today was definitely a good day..

Did Cody get a replacement yet?

Just got my silver 1000 mah twist from cignot.com and it works, but I'm not sure where to set it with each accessory. I do know 4.8v is too high for the LR atty. I'm rocking it now at 4.4 on a dcc.

Ovale doesn't sell junk TBS the odd failure will occur. It is just the nature of the beast. OTOH the proven track record of brand name far outweighs the odd dud from the nock off manufacturers.

Hi...I just got my 1000mah twist today & it's on the charger right now. Sounds like you got a bummer. I'd contact whoever you purchased it from. Your problem does not sound right & I believe you've done everything to test it. Good luck w/it.

You can forget my previous post...my Twist died!!! The replacement should be here tomorrow. I noticed that it didn't want to hold the charge & then it just decided to not do anything. I do believe there's a problem w/these. (wiping tears)

Was yours a silver one? At least yours lasted a week. My first one was DOA.

My replacement is still going strong after a solid week of fairly heavy use. It's been charging fine with absolutely no issues. So good so far..

Darn I was really looking forward to this new batt waited 7 days for it to arrive as it hit the bermuda triangle post office in Flushing NY and it is not working. Flashes 3 times no matter what you do. Shows green on the charger..etc...same deal.

Silver 1000mah working great!

My first VV device. I really love this thing. would've been great to have used it on this last tour... but ya win some, you lose some.

Ovale was cool with me too.

A few days ago my 6 week old silver Twist developed a jammed button at an angle so I ordered a black one as a backup. After hearing nothing back from Joye about warranty, I opened it up myself today and reset the button.

The black one arrived today DOA with the three blink error. Time to send it back I suppose.

My twist battery is doing the same thing - only used it for a couple of hours and the light blinked five times - put it on the charger and the charger light stays green. I had two 1000mah - returned to the vendor who sent me replacements, but now one of the new ones is dead the same way. There is definitely a problem here - love this battery when it works - but what to do???

My Twist is having the exact same issue..

The light on the charger is green, but when I put a clearomizer on the Twist the little light flashes three times. When I press the button, the light flashes three times again. I tried the five rapid clicks to reset it, and it starts the three flashes immediately after the first press of the button. No power/ no vape.

It's back on the charger for now, still giving the green light.

I just emailed Ovale asking for advice on the matter. I'll try to remember to report back here with the details of their reply.

The Twists that I have right now (lots of them), all work o.k. except one where the botton gets stuck at times & it wants to blink at other times. They're all Joyetech so no clone worry there - I wish I wasn't so afraid of getting some kind of mod, but some of the battery stories scare the heck out of me. I honestly don't know if I'm going to buy any more of them since I never set it over 3.8 - 4. I just don't know if they're worth the cost even tho some people swear by them. I'm so CONFUSED!!

Same here for the silver ones...from different vendors. One lasted for two months...got the silver replacement out and it lasted one charge and is dead. Have a black one that is still going strong. See how that goes. Its absurd that these things are made like crap..guess I need to tear one apart and fix it.

Does anyone know where to get a constant 4.0V device the same size as the normal ego or twist. Don't want a bulky APV. 4 volts is my sweetspot with a BOGE. Thanks....

I've had exactly Zero problems with any of them.

Perhaps it's the cartomizers/clearomizers/whatevermizers being used with them?

Some of you guys might be running up against resistance problems. If the resistance of the whatevermiser is too low, and you crank that bad boy up...you could be exceeding what the Twist is good for.

Just thinking out loud.

Hi Golf....Check out the egoK from ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE / E CIGARETTES STARTER KITS AND E LIQUID NICOTINE FROM MOM AND POP - I have the passthru version & I like it as much if not better than my Twist......less $ also. I use a Boge 1.7 - 2. with it & it's great.

Hi No......AND NO. Unless they specify Joyetech...there's a load of them out there that just use the ego type description. You can google the authorized (most of them) dealers.

Here i have 2 of 3 that have the same problems.. they wont charge anymore. I did use (phoenix) RBA's on it and never checked resistance.

I would really like to be sure if it was a short problem or something else.. it shouldnt be a short because the are protected. Will not buy anymore twist..
