if the picture is where theyre headed, i dont like it at all. The simplistic designs of the ipv2 is what attracted me to it, even the ipv3 looked 'ok' although i liked the ip2 styling better, materials were better in the ipv3 but id rather have the ipv3 quality with ipv2 bodystyle. and that ipv4 looks like its just trying to be too fancy

Because it's probably using the 100w SX 350 chip vs the 150w SX 330 v3.

Less watts but much better chip.

YiHiEcigar SX350 100W

Its not the SX350. The SX350 uses a large square screen, and is *much* more expensive than the vendor chips such as SX330 V1/2/3, SX300, etc.
No chinese mods use the SX350 or SX350 Mini except the SX Mini actually made by YiHi. The 350 line was made for "high end" modders.

What about the sx350 mini? Is that capable of a 100 watt upgrade?

The 100w sx330 just doesn't make a lot of sense to me in what's supposed to be an upgrade of the IPV 3.

Yihi chip – SX330 V3C never heard of it and YiHi won't release any specs until sometime maybe;)

Resistance reads down to 0.1 Ω
Resistance reads up to 3.0 Ω

Adjustable wattage: 5W-100W

Output voltage: 1.0V – 7.5V this is all wrong why is this not 9.5V

Makes me laugh Sigelei make there 100W+ look like a IPV now P4U go all 3D printed gripper ;)

Can't wait for the hundreds of Chinese mods this year;)

At least they seem to have all slowed down at 100 watts, I don't think I've seen any new fire breather mods hitting the market lately.

interesting device.... you're right, 7.5v doesn't cut it though :)

If the iStick 50 watt can push out 10 volts, this thing must be able to. Or, it assumes you won't need to because you can just raise the temp control? But then you have to use nickel wire, etc. Do people drip on their iStick 50 watts? I honestly did not like the 20 watt but I've heard better things about the 50. I want to either get the IPV 70 watt or the IPV 4, I kinda wanna see how big the IPV 4 is first as I need something I can carry around pretty easily.

Even with the new chip the numbers are good.

I think people are attempting to use ohms law to figure this out and you can't.
Regulated Mod spools up and controls power output unlike a mechanical Mod.
Dual Batteries split the required power being drained increasing boost while decreasing drain.
