I want to order a Little Sister mod but need battery advice.

Ken sells 10440 350mah High Drain, and 10440 600mah protected cells.

In reality, they both are really 350 mAh so the mAh rating is not the issue.

High drain are not protected, are they safe???????? I've heard they work better, but I don't want my Little Sister to blow up.

Also, any opinions on the ultrafire brand of protected 10440 versus the trustfire brand?

even 350 mAh is a stretch for a cell that size. i'm not sold on the high drain 10440, as the specs i've seen for them don't appear to add up. nevertheless, if they are truly limn chemistry cells, and i'm not saying that they are or they aren't, it should at least give off less voltage sag....some still because the cell is just too small for the amp draw of the atomizers we use, but it should translate into a better vape than the li-ion cells.

that's if these cells are limn, and the manufacturer has any real sense of quality control. i can't comment on any of that. the ****fire protected 10440 batteries may be a better bet, all things considered, but with the protection circuit board they are really about 10460, a good 2mm longer than the average unprotected 10440 cell. this doesn't allow them to fit in a lot of mods, so be sure you have the extra space if you go this route.

all in all, when i use AAA cell devices i tend to use aw unprotected 10440s. i think the mAh rating is a little more accurate, the quality control is definitely there, and it's just a little cell doing the very best it can. :D
