I am going to get the wife the P+10 for xmas and I'm wondering which batt to get. The AW ICR or the IMR. In this size, is there a real advantage in getting the IMR?

The AW ICR 10440 outperforms the IMR 10440 both in higher tested mah and holds higher voltage under load.

Are these ICR's unprotected? If so, I'm a little nervous about that, even tho I ordered 4 of them.

Unprotected. But it's a small single, non stacked cell, and i have never heard of a single failure on this battery, for that matter, i've never heard of a single failure on any AW batteries.
