Hi all
Just made a 2 battery mods with 11.00 worth of parts from radioshack.
Thats right 11.00 is enough for parts 2 make two.(minus batteries)
i modded the box so it takes 2 batteries in parallel. I use 2 x 14500 batteries from deal extreme to power it. The 14500 batteries are 3.7 volts and 900 mah so 2 in parallel will still give 3.7 volts but should give 1800mah.
This mod was made to fit pen styles.
i just finished this and it smokes great. I am hoping the batteries will last as long as i think they will.

Can I come over and watch you build one for me?/ I would love, how to do that, for even $15.00 or even $20.00 instead of me spending a few times that, buying them elsewhere, Let me know where you live and I can be over in an hour!!!

see ya in a bit

looks good
In the pictures it looks like the switch isn't all the way in. is it a problem with space?
all so I try to stay away from batts in parallel because for me they don't last as long after a couple of charges, I think it has to do with one draining the other.

When I ordered the switch I did not realize how Huge it was. It was to big to put all the way in but it works great. I will probably use a smaller switch on my next build (this is my first).

The good thing about this mod is you can put in one battery or two at a time and it will work. 2 batteries are great for a long charge when needed. For around the house you can use just one battery if you like. The voltage remains the same using either 1 or 2 batteries.
I have been using this all day now and loooove it. Manual switch lets you get a much better hit than my automatic pen gives.

It adds a level of complexity, but you could throw in a switch to change which battery connects to the atomizer so while it holds two batteries, you only use one at a time. When one gets low, flick the switch to the other, keep vapin'. Avoids the parallel battery problem, still gives a ton of lasting power....Just a thought.

That is a good idea. Just like boats that have an a/b switch on their batteries.
I have built 2 of these for myself maybe I will mod one.

Next I want to try a flashlight mod.

Yea if you could put a three way switch: off, 1st batt and 2nd batt that would be something. Off when you carry it 1st of 2nd when you use it.
