13700 Battery

I promise.....I did my Search first, but came up with nada. Anybody know of a supplier for the internal Ego battery which is a 13700. Somebody described it as a 13.7 mm diameter, 70mm long, which kind of eliminates a 14650. There are plenty of suppliers for 500 or 1000, but I was hoping there was a retailer out there for 5 or 10. Most of the Ego batteries suffer from circuit board failure, but occasionally a battery will bite the dust.

Yes, yes, I know......why not just buy a new one, or move up to the latest mod, but I'm the kind of guy that will fix a light bulb, if I can find a way to get the air back out of it, so I'm looking to revive some Ego batts that I have, and inherited.

Circuit board replacement has saved many so far, but there are a few that actually need a new batt.

Actually that's 13mm Dia. and 70mm long. The Ego battery casing diameter is about 13.5mm, so they have definitely found a way to eliminate 14650 batteries that are 14.6mm. Since the minimum order is 500, that eliminates the end user. I guess there has not been enough perceived market for one of our suppliers to step up for a bulk order. 'Tis a shame since many Ego batts could be rebuilt if we just had the parts.

You're right about that, especially since the larger ones are $20+. I'm just not willing to take a $20 investment and toss it over a bad battery that costs $2 from a Chinese manuf. The problem, of course, is the quantity requirement. I was hoping some retailer had already taken the plunge, but no sign of it yet.
