I have a smallcollection of ego bats (2 650 mAh & 1 1000 mAh) that have all died of burned mosfets in the switch. Sitting right next to my brand new vv mod kit from madvapes.

1) Is this even feasible?

2) How do I charge these bats now?

3) is there a protection circuit in the bats, or is it in the ego circuit board?

4) If no-go on the ego bats, then which bats are the smallest (is there a AAA size equivalent) that will work w/ MV's kit?

5) I'm kinda noob at battery designations. I just got this kit and it does not ask for a specific battery, as far as I could find.

Thanks
Erin

You could do it most simply with a 7.4V Li-Ion pack charger. Install the cells in series and add a connector for the charger. Though, it's always better to use a balancing charger on Li-Ion packs. No real difference other than a two wire connector for a pack charger versus a three wire connector for a balancing charger.

You would need to add a protection PCB or two as required. There's a bunch of them available here.

The 14500 cells are AA size. The 10440 cells are AAA size.
