14500 battery advice?

So i recently bought a nemi (mini nemesis) mod. I have a few questions about the 14500 battery it uses. First off i havent been able to find a shop that sells them, no specialty vape shops or anything. I have been looking online from reputable vendors and have only came across trustfire and ultrafire which i know are not very good quality brands. At this point i just want a SAFE 14500 battery. Do you think the trustfire or ultrafire will get the job done safely? Anyone have any recommendations or other sources to find one of these little guys?

i'd recommend AW imr 14500 which has a relatively high continuous discharge rate of 9 amps which gives you a bit more leeway.

Just be aware, that an 14500 mod can't run the super subohm builds some mods with bigger batteries can. That AW battery is a good battery, but 0.5 ohm would be the absolute minimum resistance you would want to use on it.

+1 for the AW IMR 9A battery.

I use them in my little Reo wooden box mods. However, I would only take it down to 0.7 ohms (i.e. giving myself some headroom).

I concur. I have never bought batteries from anyone else ..... and this particular batt is very good.

14500 devices have their place, just don't expect the same performance you get from a 18650 or larger.

That is the only place I buy AW batteries, which seem to be the one of best on the market at the moment. IMHO
