My car radio has Bluetooth.... Connects to my phone, I can answer calls, send texts via voice, all by one touch of the radio volume button and say "call ......." or "send a message to ....."
It's great
My car has the same feature.. But damned if I know how to work it. LOLOL There is a button for it on the stearing wheel next to the radio buttons.
My hubby works til 11:30 tonight, so not sure if we will do anything if the bon fire doesn't happen.
My neighbors have started off their fireworks. Surprised the dogs really don't seem to care.

Fortunately we're not being bothered with rain. But there are some county fools on a damn big orange piece of equipment, busting the concrete in our neighbor's drive, to fix some mysterious water problem -- and our water is off. 
What a great time to turn off the water, hey? On the 4th of July when people are throwing gunpowder around?!?!?! IDIOTS.

Wow what a day to have them do that!
On the bright side they are working to fix it now rather than wait until Monday. A major leak (burst pipe) could greatly reduce water preasure. I suppose in the instance of a fire reduced water preasure would be a problem.
Hopefully they will have it fixed soon! IN the park when a main bursts they usually have it fixed within about 3 hours.. But they do not have to break up cement to get to the line.
Spaghetti with bacon is awesome! Growing up my mom used to fry some bacon, then sauté the onions and peppers in the bacon grease. She would drain them, then add them to her spaghetti sauce just like she normally made it. Then she would add the crumbled up bacon when the sauce was almost done. She'd serve the sauce over the pasta and call it cowboy spaghetti. Yum!!
Well, the water's still off, so I may be doing dishes even later in the middle of the night than usual. thank GOD we have the reverse-osmosis filtration thing at the sink; it's got a 3gal tank, so I was able to trickle a little to get the BBQ sauce off my hands!
