My poor Mamba. Tonight her hip gave out. She is showing signs of hip dysplasia. She could hardly walk. I set up an oil heater and gave her a pain killer. I am going to have to look into some holistic remedies, as I can't afford surgery. hopefully I can keep it manageable for her.

Yeah, well when you don't get President's Day off from work, you tend to forget about the holiday. And my sons have school tomorrow. I found it odd that their community college doesn't have President's Day off.No school tomorrow. I bet it's full of high school kids!

That IS weird! I know ours is closed because I need a copy of my unofficial transcript for school and I have to wait until Tuesday. Forgot my global pin so I have to go onsite to get it.
after paying the fee for my one and only, prepaid use only for bills, credit card....the savings are a wash in most cases :/
she has been showing minor signs for a while, but part of her problem is even when she is sore, the second she is outside....she wants to go tearing off after things, chasing birds out of HER yard, etc....
Today was just the worse yet, she fell over after getting down from the couch, instead of just light soreness like usual. We just had a Tractor Supply open up near by, I'll go check them out tomorrow, they often have great prices (not to mention, a good place to pick up bulk PG and VG)

Glucosamine really helped Suzie out a lot when she got bad. You should be able to find some pretty cheap. Just adjust the dosage to her weight and make sure she gets it every day.

that is very true, i cant count the skunks i have seen dead along the road on my way home from work in the morning, almost as bad as the deer
That's so sad. We haven't had nearly the number of deer deaths this year we usually have by now. I guess they are still able to find good food away from the highway, which makes me very happy. I just hate seeing road kill.
