Precisely. When was the last time you heard of a shop manager making $9/hr? And being scheduled six days a week but only clocking 30 hours?
I deal with broken equipment, making
juice, keeping track of
juice stock, deliveries, invoices, inputting deliveries, keeping other employees on track, transferring inventory to our other store, etc. The other counter monkeys as I like to call us don't do any of that other than the occasional easy repair or mixing a batch of
juice after I've laid out the recipe and told them to go do.
I need to go back to school but have no idea for what. I was thinking vet tech, but they top out at about $30k/yr after $10k+ in schooling at one of the cheaper places...
