Lannie my mother posted this on fb, from a site called on in lancaster pa, I immediately thought of you.

That's so cute! Obviously, their mom tosses them cat food out the door on a fairly regular basis. That happened to me, too. First it was just one hen, and I liked her, so I would toss her a little cat food to nosh on, then pretty soon she started inviting one or two of her friends, and now there's a whole GANG of them that mob the back door. They get to the back door before we even get back from chores! LOL! They're there WAITING for their treats when I get back to the house. It's a sorry state of affairs, I can tell you.

I don't have to worry about any vape conventions and whether I'll miss them or not, because there aren't any. Even if they had one in Rapid City, I'm not driving two hours each way just for that.

Back in the day, we used to go to Vegas twice a year for the head shop/smoke shop trade shows, I have over 100 industry tshirts lol.

Good afternoon.

Here's your weekend update.

Yesterday afternoon, my dad's surgeon came in with his test results. She said his cancer has not spread to any other organs, his hemoglobin is back to normal, white blood cell count is back to normal, and all vital signs are normal.
However, he has been very sick the last 2 days, constantly vomiting and crazy hiccups. His intestines have not "woken up" since his surgery. The surgeon said they would eventually wake up, but in the meantime, bile is collecting in his stomach and they are having to pump it out. They were also putting in a PICC line to feed him since he can't eat yet.

He's not going to know what to do with himself when he gets to eat real food again. It's been 2 weeks.

He's not going to know what to do with himself when he gets to eat real food again. It's been 2 weeks.

Bless his heart. It's not good when you go from an all liquid diet to solid food again. He'll probably need some softeners in his food til he can handle using the bathroom without it being too uncomfortable. I know it sounds gross, but it's what to expect.

Funny story, I can laugh cause it happened to my brother...
He was like 25, had to have hemorrhoid surgery. After he came home, my mom made him eat applesauce with mineral oil in it. His first poop...he bent the doorknob in the bathroom and thought he was gonna die...when he came out...I asked him what the hell all the commotion in the bathroom was about
He said...all of that for a damn turd the size of a pebble

Bless his heart. It's not good when you go from an all liquid diet to solid food again. He'll probably need some softeners in his food til he can handle using the bathroom without it being too uncomfortable. I know it sounds gross, but it's what to expect.

Holy crap, I almost got a HERNIA I was laughing so hard at you and Beckdog. You guys should take your show on the road! You'd be a HIT!

Nikki, your dad will be OK, he just needs to get his system back to normal. He could use some probiotics to help. If you can (or someone can) get some for him, make sure they're human strain, at least 3 to 5 strains, and refrigerated, in a capsule. Tablets won't work, and non-refrigerated might be mostly dead, you never know. Walmart sells one called Florajen 3 that's OK. It's not nearly the best, but it will do in a pinch. They're behind the pharmacy counter, in their fridge, so you have to ask someone for them.
