18350 / 18500 mode

I was wondering if anyone actually ran their mod in either 18500 or 18350 modes? I can see that possibly having a shorter mod might be advantageous, but the reduction in battery life surely out-wieghs the benefits?

I don't.

But i bought my pop and my wife both billet boxes and they love them. They run on a pair of Protected 16340s.

All 4 of these are running on 18490s.

When you give amperage draw a little forethought 1100mAh will last .......... well .......... 11 hours vape time.
On average I charge 1.5 18490 batteries/day.

I started out using 18650 batteries, I moved to 18490s, and now I use 18350s pretty exclusively. I typically use 1.3ohm coils so I don't worry about amp limits and I really prefer the smaller form factor (the main reason that I use them). I go through about three 18350s a day and I carry a pocket voltmeter to measure when it's time to swap out batteries when they get below 3.7v (although I can usually tell by the decreased performance when they cross the 3.7v threshold). Sure, I could use an 18650 battery that would last me all day, but I don't mind swapping out batteries. One potential upside is that I get to use a fully charged battery at 4.2v three times a day instead of just once.

I use both in my P3, since I find it too long in 18650 mode. I vape right at 20 watts, so no the battery life isn't great. I use it at home or if I'm going out for only a brief time. I generally take an 18650 box-mod to work.

I see no reason to use either unless you insist on a tubular mod.

I use 350s all the time on both stingray X and 4nine when out & about, I like short, light, & discrete mods. With builds between 1.1-1.5Ω, lasts about 3 hours. If I'm out for the day, grab a plastic battery case where I put 3 extra batteries and small bottle of juice.

I only have one mod that can use 18350's and its a Hammer clone. I love that little guy especially with a long drip tip. FEELS FANCY. I generally run coils around 1.5 with 26 gauge wire on a 3mm rod so amps aren't a problem and the batteries last me a while. But then again the hammer isn't really my all day mod (my Segelie 150 is due to the dual batteries) but more my night time relaxing mod

I have two mechs as my daily sources with 2ohm cartos, I have to change batteries after work and the second set lasts the rest of the evening. I run 18350s for stealth and pocketability reasons. If I used my 18650s I could go all day without a change, but the size difference is worth it to me.

I have an orion v4.1 batt from nosomker. In 350 mode it is 68mm. About the same size as my nemesis in 350 mode but is regulated! In that mode I get almost a full day of work out of the battery vaping ~10 watts on a kayfun 4.

I run my empire, and provari in 18490/18500 mode and my iHybrid pure is also an 18490 mod

I have two mods that use 18490 batteries and both are used regularly: A Super T Simplicity and a HOH ZNA 30. Other than those the rest (various boxes and mechs) are all 18650 or integrated batteries. So for me, 2 of my 12 (I think it's 12) mods are 18490.

I use only 18350s outside of the house. At home I use mainly 18500s. Only one of my current mods are set up for 18650s.
