I will soon be upgrading my eVic with a Kir Fanis telescopic tube. So I'm in the market for an 18350 battery, a battery charger and maybe an 18500 battery.

I've done a bit of reading and searching. Think I have found a good charger but have some questions. I wanted a battery charger that would fit 18350 - 18650 batteries without spacers. Safety and quality are of course priority too.

I believe this model will meet my needs.
XTAR WP2S 7th Anniversary Edition Battery Charger

I'm kind of a noob so can someone please explain the following function a little for me?
"0.25A 0.5A 1.0A three optional charging currents"
If I were to buy this charger, how would I know which setting to use for a battery? I'm guessing mah?

These are the batteries I'm looking at by the way. Anyone familiar with how they will work with an eVic?

Thank you for your time.

I'm using Nitecore intellicharge i2

It's cheaper then yours and works fine with both 18650 and 18350 without spacers.

I suppose changing the current will change batteries charging time, but how this will effect the battery life is unknown to me.
There are different currents and different charging modes and modern chargers make the decision for you based on the battery type (since it's best not to screw around with batteries and end up burning your house down).

AW batteries are very good, but 18350 are small batteries as is, with low mAh especially IMR batteries.
AW make 700 mAh IMR batteries, while others make higher current output batteries.

unsure
