18350 Shortage?

There seems to be a worldwide shortage of AW IMR 18350s... Rob, is this your fault?

Also a shortage of 18490s... I'm guessing this is a combination of the REO 18490 AND the soon to be released Kick... I managed to find ONE 18490, and I ordered it.

Difficult to be ready when the VV is released when I can't find the batteries!

Yet another shortage: Pila chargers are getting tough to come by. I did find one on oveready.com, and they have 20 or so if anyone's looking. We all know why that's happening.... Not coincidently, why I bought one.

If anyone sees the 18350s available, please pm me!!

Thanks for the heads up... In light of recent events, I'm going to stick to the tried and true...

I wish I knew enough about batteries to make an intelligent decision about different battery brands, but I haven't yet had the time to read through battery university completely!

Drew has said he sources his batteries from the same factory as AW. They're showing as in stock here.

Wil, thanks for the heads up on the pila chargers. I've spent hours today trying to find one. None in Canada, and all US suppliers were out of stock or wanted ridiculous shipping charges. I just ordered one from oveready as you suggested! Now all I need are some batteries (ordered), juice, (ordered) to go with my newly arrived but still unusable Reo Grande (today!).

I imagine with the big batt scare things might get wierd, people are getting fresh new batts, better chargers.... plus the new "Kicked" coming out takes the 18490's so I am sure people are going to be swooping that size for awhile.

^^^Haven't bought from them personally but, heard a lot of praise given to this vendor. Also, I wouldn't use anything on my REO's or other mods that aren't AW branded.

i think us zenfidels over at house of hybrids thread have taken quite a lot of batts out of the vape shops..... zen is sending out like 100-200 mini's(18350's) this month. sorry us zenfidels took all the batt's away.....
