18350's (SDMK2) and TR-001 charger?

Hello-
I have 2 nano-chargers for my SD batteries, but they both seem to be quite flakey. Sometimes I put a dead battery and the light burns a dim red forever and it never charges (even if I try every combination of putting the battery in, putting the battery in then plugging it in, turning the power off at the mains, etc). Other times they burn bright red and charge in the normal time.

I have a Trustfire TR-001 charger for other things. Can I use it for the 18350's with some sort of spacer? I've got a few rare earth magnets that came with a second hand mod I don't use lying around...

Yes, the TR001 can charge 18350's and you can use the magnets to make contact if necessary.
