18490 stabilized burl question

hi all, im wondering how all of us with stabilized burl mods are keeping them clean and in perfect condition. the area below the button where your fingers rest is my area of concern. it needs cleaned but i dont want to rub it too hard nor use a cleaner on it til i know im safe to do so.

Use the Howard's wax on it for sure Mike. Then just clean with a damp cloth. Keep it waxed good. I have had my stabilized Woodvil for a few months and it is doing great! If needed I think you could use a mild dish detergent. Just lightly enough to remove any dirt or dry juice. Then wax it up again!

I buy the Sunshield because I want UV protection. But the Feed & Wax is good also.

ah, yes. we have a lowes here. thanks rob, i will be gentle with it

It is best after you apply the wax to let it sit and dry completly. I find I can not leave them sit for that long. So I am usually starting to buff while the wax is still a tiny bit wet. Really a dry, hard wax gives a better finish.
