Hey gang,

Dont know if this is the right place to post this, but I just bought 8 Ultrafire 18650 protected 3600 mah batteries for $3.95 apiece off the madvapes site.. when I left they had 174 left, and stated that it was a limited time only deal... better grab them while you can.....

mods, please move to the correct area if I posted this in the wrong spot...

I am interested as well. 3600 mAh seems too good to be true, especially at that price.

Well, it is too good to be true because 3600 mah is most definitely overstated. Even if they are internally resisted, 3600 mah in an 18650 is just outside the scope of possibility. But, even though the manufacturers of these sorts of batteries routinely overstate mah ratings, it's still a great price even if they overstated it by by a thousand mah or more - and even if the cell quality isn't top-notch. A general purpose 18650 for less than 4 bucks is a good deal.

This is such a good deal it has me thinking about an 18650 mod, which I really do not need. I do have a question that maybe some of our techies can answer.

With all of the VV and DC vaping we are doing these days, this forum is full of posts that insist that high-drain or high discharge rate batteries are required to safely handle the load.

I tried to find some technical details on this particular battery but so far no luck.

Are these batteries up to a high workload? Or are they more suited to generic 3.7V vaping?

Thanks, JJ

On 3000mah 18650's I get about 2 1/2 days on a set of batteries in a dual mod..... Order came in today, and 1 out of 8 is a dead cell... Sent off an email, and started to charge the rest..... Then my rapid charger smoked so down to the old trustfire tr-001, which has been a workhorse so far... Will post results when I get them charged and vaping!!

OK, out of 4 I actually got two wonky batts, but I did get a notice from MV that they're sending one out to replace the one I messaged them about. For the price, I don't mind taking the loss on the other wonky batt. The two that work, work very well and last me all day like my 3000mAh's do...get me through 6ml a day.

I ordered two of these and have had them for 3 days. I have not tested actual voltage, but they noticably drop off in power rather quickly, much faster than my gray 2600mah ultrafires. The hit feels very diminished after about 2 hours of use. They do keep working all day, but with the decreased hit feeling until they are recharged. I'm not very happy with them - interested in hearing other's experiences. FWIW - I am using these with dual-coil mega cartos.
