Has anyone tried these on the unresistored protigy and if so how long does the battery last? Saw them at deal extreme - UltraFire Protected 18650 3.7V 3000mAh Lithium batteries (2-Pack)

They should be good for a very long time. I use the Tenergy 2600mAh 18650 and they last for more than 2 days.

I use the same Tenergy batts and AW 18650's rated at 2600mAh as well. But capacity is definitely overstated, and I seriously doubt the ultrafire, trustfire, spiderfire, whatever fire is going to match the either the AW batts or the Tenergy batts you already have.

I know what you mean. I will be trying the AW bats soon. I wish we had more choices of batteries. The china manufacturers have a bad habit of exagerating battery capacity. Problem is, I suspect that there is only one manufacturing plant for the lithium batteries.

Thanks for the input. Just ordered them. I like the fact that they last 3 days.

no problem :)

I'm glad you pointed those out. I may go ahead and grab some and see what all the fuss is with the Prodigy at 3.7.

Well... I use the Prodigy both ways. Don't expect miracles... The only 'fuss' as I see it is being able to use it for a few days without changing batteries. If you don't like 3.7 vaping, it's not going to change your mind. After vaping 5v for so long, the only atty I'll use at 3.7 is the 510. I use it at 3.7v with the 3000mAh batteries when I'm going to be doing something where carrying extra sets of batteries and/or the charger will be inconvenient or unrealistic. Basically, in the time I'd use one 3000mAh batt at 3.7v, I'd have changed the 3v sets oh... at least 10 times.

I know the math doesn't add up... but I don't seem to be getting much time out of my 3v batteries. Based on mAh, I should be changing the 18650 once for every three changes of the CR123's... but it doesn't seem to be working out that way.

If you have a resistor switch you'll have to either jump past the resistor or cut it out of the loop for 3.7. The 18650 with the resistor switch only produces about 2.7 - 3.2v

Just thought I'd save you the *what the - - ?*

I like 3.7v it's cooler and the flavors are better. Attys last longer (never lost one) and vape time is off the hook.
