I will first admit I do NOT have much experience with modding. But, would it be possible to remove the guts of a 510 battery and somehow get a 18650 in there? I want the 18650 battery in a small 510 package so you get much much much more time between charges. Im sure the 18650 is too big to get in there but wouldnt it be possible to find some kind of casing so it stays as close to a 510 size as possible? Am I asking for too much? Am I being cheap?

Drozd,
I would reserve the application of High Drain batteries (low resistance, high C)
to those that are experienced modders. Great battery, but one mistake and things get hot, burn hands, weld switch contacts, etc.

Some newbie is gonna get one and fry his sofa.

(just my POV)

Rocketman...
if we take away the option of the high drains or something with a high C rating that only leaves 18650 batteries at 3.7V... and I don't feel that's the best answer as you know people are gonna stuff whatever they can into the tube to get HV and I think that could be decidedly more dangerous..

Guy walks into a forum with a parrot on his shoulder,
uh, I mean a question,

and look what we do to him.
sorry Stu

Upon re reading the OP...
Rocket hope you can see where I'm looking at this from a bit...he's looking to cram the internals of a 18650 into a casing or tube the size of a 510... Why? because he doesn't want to have to recharge as often or carry as many batteries..
Guess our short answer should have been just that it's not possible because of the way batteries are constructed and Li-Ion densities and such..mAh are gonna be restricted by size of the cell...
But it's that type of attitude I see as the ones that are gonna try to cram whatever they can into a tube to get the effects of what they want..
If we weren't concerned about coming across as rude we could almost call it just being cheap and lazy..or just wishful thinking..
But there's so much more that goes into batteries than mAh and size
Until technology with the new solid state batteries really takes off..plain and simple mAh is restricted by size..

Your not being either. your searching for your wants. As I stated in my first post the 10440 is the closest size wise to a 510. It has a 3.7 volt rating the same as a 18650 does but it has a smaller MAH than the 18650. But it will still give you way more vaping between charges depending on how much you vape . I got a 5volt (2x10440 with regulator) that I vape on all day while I'm working. I would recommend a lazer again as it will last along time it is the closest in size to a 510, it's very inexspensive, has great quality, you can use your 510 attys/carts on it and will increase your vaping versus charges considerably. Ps I don't make any points or money steering you to the lazer.

Sorry took so long to get back in this post. Been at work. I appreciate all the input. I've had zero experience with 18650's. I didn't realize they were THAT much bigger. I guess I'm asking for too much in a perfect package (but aren't we all). Looks like a chuck or a silver bullet is gonna be coming my way. Maybe I'll go with a laser too. Thanks for all the input.
